IGARSS 2021 CALL

A joint initiative of Belgium & The Netherlands

As member of the IGARSS 2021 Local Organizing Committee we are pleased to invite you to IGARSS 2021, starting Sunday the 11th of July till Friday the 16th of July 2021.

On behalf of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society and the IGARSS 2021 Organizing Committee, we invite you to Brussels (Belgium) for the 41th annual IGARSS symposium.

The 2021 symposium is a joint effort of the European Low Countries, Belgium and The Netherlands. As such, the organizing committee promotes “Crossing Borders” as the main theme with other up-to-date developments and advanced research in the field of geoscience and remote sensing. Specifically, the symposium promotes submissions to the following special scientific themes:

- UAV and miniaturised remote sensing capabilities and applications
- GPS, GNSS and Galileo for earth observation
- Geo information and integration for smart and green cities
- Advanced monitoring and assessment of hazards (natural, anthropogenic and pandemic)

Call for invited sessions, tutorials and papers

  • Invited sessions
    The IGARSS 2021 organizing committee has also published its call for invited sessions. Proposal for invited sessions need to be submitted by 1 November 2020. The selection of the sessions will be done by the Technical Program Committee by 9 November 2020.
     
  • Tutorial proposals
    Tutorial proposals are also solicited. Tutorials are intended to provide participants with lectures or practical training sessions on innovative and emerging topics within the field of Geoscience and Remote Sensing. The deadline to submit your proposal for a half-day or full-day tutorial is 4 November 2020.
     
  • Paper submission
    Authors who wish to give a presentation are requested to submit a paper (minimum of 2 pages; maximum of 4 pages). A link to submit the paper online will be available at the Symposium website early November 2020.
