Martine Paepen combines a Master’s degree in Agricultural Bioengineering with years of experience working in IT. Working with use cases, user requirements and acceptance criteria, she delivers high-quality products and project documentation for geodata projects within the Geomatics group.

Well defined use cases, requirements and acceptance criteria improve product quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Within the remote sensing domain, she has expertise in long-term data preservation, EO data discovery and access via standardised OGC interfaces such as CSW and OpenSearch, EO data metadata (HMA, INSPIRE), processing on-demand- and web-tools for user-tailored information extraction.

Martine uses her vast knowledge of ESA ECSS standards to support the definition and management of project milestones and deliverables for several ESA projects.
