While acquiring a diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering in Greece, Stelios gained expertise in software and data engineering aspects. After serving in the IT department of the Greek army, he obtained an internship in the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, where he worked in the Borders & Security team, setting up the web infrastructure and research data fusion for capturing and handling Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) data in the public domain.
Remote Sensing offers me a chance to make an impact in the modern world challenges.
Meanwhile, as he was passing cycling daily by the VITO EI building, destiny knocked his door and became a member of the CGLOPS team in 2024. There, he looks forward to enriching his skills in the DevOps field and exploring the fascinating world of Remote Sensing.
