After graduating as an ICT Engineer at Ghent University, Dennis Clarijs travelled around the globe managing a plethora of small- and large-scale vision-based automation projects. From working in several different cultures, Dennis has accrued extensive experience in image processing, ICT Infrastructure, as well as civil works, optics, electronics and Health & Safety in an operational context.
The more you know, the more interesting life becomes.
Today, Dennis manages the Platform and Services department in the unit Environmental Intelligence. His focus is on attaining the best quality data platforms, services and products while constantly monitoring new market trends within the remote sensing world and technology in general. Large-scale operational projects for customers such as ESA, the European Commission and the Flemish government are managed under his watch.
