New openEO QGIS Plugin Released
A new version of the openEO QGIS plugin is now available, offering improved integration between openEO services and QGIS. The plugin allows users to explore data and visualise results directly within QGIS, making it easier to work with Earth observation data in a familiar GIS environment.
The openEO QGIS plugin connects seamlessly to openEO backends, including the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem (CDSE) and Terrascope, through the QGIS Browser. Users can browse available data collections, view processing results, and add map services to their QGIS projects without switching applications.
Key improvements include smoother QGIS integration, easier access to openEO resources, direct visualisation of results, and more flexible download options.
The plugin is available for QGIS version 3.40.0 and later and can be installed via the QGIS Plugin Manager by searching for “openEO”.
