Terraviewer releases new features

Easily visualize and compare data

Terrascope, the Belgian platform to access and use Copernicus Sentinel data, releases a couple of interesting new features. Discover the EO browser Terraviewer, web services and user applications to get you started easily to retrieve the information you need.

  • With the new compare function, you can visualize the difference between two dates on a specific region, the slider makes it even easier to compare a smaller area  in the region. Check out the video.

  • Areas of interest: with this function you can define an area of interest and easily follow up its condition throughout time. All you need to do is create a user name to save and retrieve your areas

  • A specific url is now available once you have zoomed in. This way you can easily share your region of interest with someone else. No need for typing a city name or area in the search field anymore. Use the share button on the right to share the image on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+.

NEW SENTINEL-2 DATA

The Sentinel-2 data are now processed with updated software, which implies that the atmospheric correction and cloud screening is more stable.

The previous version of the data is still available until the end of September, to facilitate the transition to the new version.
